California Slalom Series #2 Results

July 20, 2003
The second slalom of the 2003 California
Championship series (and third date of the race series) at West LA College
featured a very tight and challenging tight slalom and a very fast and
wide open giant slalom, and sunny, hot weather. The interest in the
slalom races continues to build, with 35 racers and lots of friends and
family watching and helping and shooting videos and photos.
Every race in both the men's and women's racing had a different winner.
The times were tighter than ever, with Mike Maysey winning the skateboard
GS by a mere 0.003 seconds! Thanks go to 3dm Sport for supplying
wheels as prizes and to Ed Economy and Gravity Skateboards for filling up
the prize pool.
